Grisbi, sticky fingers
Gripped by unprecedented heatwaves, Vicenzi’s most beloved product, Grisbi was faced with a sweltering dilemma and melting sales—we offered a solution that was as daring as simple.
The question we posed was crucial— how could we effectively market these rich and creamy filled cookies amidst soaring temperatures? We completely reimagined the cookie packaging, introducing an eye-catching metallic design that shimmered with a sense of refreshment for a hot summer day. Alongside this fresh aesthetic, we encouraged consumers to experience Grisbi in a novel way—by popping the cookies in the freezer, transforming them into a chilled indulgent treat perfect for any warm day. We also devised a double-sided packaging that uses both sides of the package for a horizontal or vertical presentation to maximise shelf space and impact. Priding ourselves on introducing this small trick, we are honoured that it has been adopted across a myriad of packs across the globe.
The limited summer edition has captivated the audience and led to sales that more than tripled during the hottest month standing as a testament to the power of a single innovative idea to catalyse significant growth and delight in the face of adversity.
